Sensory Garden Opening

Tuesday 31st May was the grand opening of our beautiful sensory garden, the garden was a thoughtful idea created by Jill & Andrea who have family residing at Haling Park. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was carried out by our residents Colin, Derek and Josephine. 

Luckily the rain held out for us to enjoy this fantastic morning joined by many residents and staff. Teas, coffees, and cakes were served whilst the residents enjoyed the benefits of their beautiful surroundings.  

The sensory garden consists of four main areas. The Beach, an area where residents can reminisce about past holidays, a Herb Garden filled with stimulating and therapeutic scents, Bug Corner full of bright exciting colours and textures and a Royal Garden which includes our very own Royal Corgi.
