Resident Visits Old Stomping Ground
One of our residents John returned to his old digs at Craven cottage for a private stadium Tour of Fulham FC, joined with one of our care staff Adnetta and they both had an amazing tour of the grounds. It was John’s dream to return to Fulham Football Club and relieve all the wonderful memories he once had there.
John is an ex-footballer who joined Fulham in 1969, who made 71 appearances and scored six goals for the club in a four-year spell and helped the club to promotion to the Second Division in the 1970–71 season.
The private tour meant just John and Adnetta could go behind the scenes to see the locker room, stadium, trophy cabinet, private boxes, bar and other undisclosed areas. It was wonderful to see John with a big smile on his face and we are so thrilled we were able to provide him with his dream day out.
