Resident Reaches Milestone Birthday

Our Italian native resident Bianca Stiles turned 100 this month on the 23rd of April.

To celebrate the occasion the staff at Haling Park ensured Bianca’s day was filled with smiles laughter and love. Italian opera singer Yuri Sabatini ensured Bianca felt at home as he sang to her in the native language, a gorgeous pink cake decorated with butterflies and sprinkles to brighten her and with some family by her side Bianca really enjoyed herself.

Her daughter Clelia could not join in the occasion but did send the team at Haling Park a lovely message:

‘I would like to thank everybody for the enthusiastic and heartening celebrations for my mother's birthday.

My relatives sent me the video and I was touched by the way in which my mother's Italian background was highlighted by the delightful operatic singing and the general atmosphere around her.

The whole event was perfectly well organised, thanks also to the devoted assistance of the hard-working nurses on the 2nd floor’.

Staff at Haling Park go above and beyond for residents' birthdays, especially when a resident reaches a milestone birthday.
