Our Hawaiian Summer Party

At Haling Park Care Home, we recently celebrated our annual summer event with a delightful Hawaiian-themed party that brought residents, families, and the local community together for a day of fun, laughter, and entertainment. The party was held in our beautiful garden and included exciting activities, delicious food, and a performance from Anna McDonald, creating an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.

The day started with Theo the magician, who amazed the crowd with his magical tricks and was followed by an incredible stiltwalker. Residents also enjoyed a bubble art display and a live performance by Anna McDonald, who had everyone singing and dancing along to her throwback hits.

Our talented kitchen team prepared an incredible spread of tropical-themed dishes which added to the festive Hawaiian atmosphere and gave people the chance to try something new. Families, friends, and residents indulged in the delicious food and refreshing drinks while soaking up the lively island vibes.

In addition to all the fun, we are proud to announce that we raised £250.00 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, thanks to the generosity of our wonderful families and friends. Their contributions helped make this event such a huge success and reminded us of the incredible support within our local community.

Our party was a day of fun and entertainment but was also an opportunity to bring together residents and their loved ones to strengthen bonds and create more cherished memories. We are grateful to everyone who joined us for this special event and look forward to many more celebrations in the future!
