Haling Park’s Summer Carnival

Last Friday, we hosted our Summer Carnival 2023 in our garden here at Haling Park Care Home in Croydon. Come rain or shine, it is important to us that we hold these annual events as they are a fantastic way to bring our staff, residents, relatives, and members of our local community together.

Throughout the day, we had various games on display for everyone to enjoy such as tin can alley, hole-in-one, and hook a duck. Other entertainment included a raffle with lots of prizes to be won and a fantastic performance by Talia who had our residents and guests dancing away.

The cuisine for the day was carnival themed, and we provided those in attendance with popcorn and candy floss from a special machine, as well as hot dogs, fish and chip cones, and many more snacks prepared by the home's Chef and team.

It was a truly spectacular afternoon filled with so much fun and we are looking forward to hosting our next event for those in our home as well as in our local community of South Croydon.
