Haling Park Care Home Wins ‘Care Home of The Year’
We are over the moon to announce that Haling Park Care Home has won the award for 'Care Home of The Year' at the group's care awards ceremony held last Thursday. The award was accepted by our Home Manager Prakash Bundun who was delighted to accept this honour. Danny Crates, former Paralympian presented the awards on the night, and this award was sponsored by Compass Associates.
The team award was given to a home that is that the forefront of providing excellence in care. Haling Park was able to give evidence of having:
- Sustained excellent practice as monitored by CQC/Care Inspectorate
- Maintained a positive culture within the service for residents, their families and our staff
- Received positive reviews from residents, their families, staff, external partners and Local Authorities
The winner of the award was described to be a home that "truly celebrates and respects every team member and resident. The home provides the very best in first-class quality care and a warm and inviting environment filled with joy, laughter and music. Led by a dedicated and highly thought of leader this home has high levels of staff retention, occupancy consistently @ 100% occupancy, great community engagement and has been recognised as being one of the top 4 care homes in the London region for 2021."
