December Festivities at Haling Park
December was packed with plenty of Christmas-inspired activities at Haling Park. Residents enjoyed our annual Christmas lights switch-on event with a sparkling fireworks display, gingerbread lattes, and mulled wine to keep them warm.
The home was beautifully decorated with special displays and ornaments handmade by the residents. During a morning of songs, the staff performed traditional Christmas carols for all residents to tap along to with a festive buffet including a hot chocolate stand. On Christmas day all residents were gifted their own individual presents and enjoyed a lovely traditional Christmas Dinner.
The residents enjoyed a festive visit to the Local refurbished theatre Fairfield Halls for the Pantomime Peter Pan. This was a great opportunity for the residents to get into the Christmas spirit and enjoy an outing like no other. A super swashbuckling adventure with a star-studded cast including Ricky Champ and Gemma Hunt, the residents had a fabulous time.
What a wonderful time we had throughout December. We hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and we look forward to seeing what we get up to in 2023.
