Celebrating a Diamond Wedding Anniversary
This month, we have celebrated the 60th wedding anniversary of Jill, one of our residents and her husband, Derek. Jill has lived with us at Haling Park Care Home for 5 years now and Derek has come to visit her every single day, even throughout Covid. To celebrate the occasion, our exceptional kitchen team baked the happy couple a cake, decorated with hearts, candles and a big diamond wedding cake topper.
We celebrated not just the years, but the countless memories, laughter and love that Jill and Derek have shared over the last 60 years. From the moment they said "I do", they have created a beautiful life together, filled with adventures, family and cherished friendship. Here's to many more years and joy, health and happiness and cheers to the incredible bond the two of them have created and the legacy of love they have built!
At Haling Park Care Home, we understand the importance of loved ones playing an active role in the care journey of our residents.
